Happy New Year, Apollo Families!

I hope you had a restful and wonderful winter break. We were filled with joy welcoming our students back this week and seeing their smiling faces. As I’ve shared before, our school feels quite boring without our Apollo Rockets filling the halls!

Thank you to all of the families who gifted our teachers and staff before winter break. I was truly touched by the outpouring of gratitude, warm wishes, and thoughtful gifts from families and students. Our staff felt incredibly appreciated, and it made the end of 2025 that much more special.

As we step into the new year, 2026, we hit the ground running. This week, we focused on helping students reacclimate to routines, procedures, schedules, and structure, while also jumping right back into academics. We are currently preparing students for the winter i-Ready assessments in both math and reading.

January 23rd marks the end of our first semester. Report cards will be available through Family Access by the end of the day.

On Friday, January 16th, we will honor the legacy of civil rights leader Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and his advocacy for racial equality and social change with a school-wide assembly in the morning. There will be no school on Monday, January 19th, in observance of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

Thank you, as always, for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to a wonderful year ahead!
